This policy explains how ClearVisibility ("we", "us") handles personal data collected through this website and when you subscribe. Data processed within the ClearVisibility product on behalf of customers is governed by the relevant customer agreement.
Who we are
ClearVisibility is operated by John Reed Associates Consultancy Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 11238800), whose registered office is Gateshead International Business Centre, Mulgrave Terrace, Gateshead, NE8 1AN. What we collect
- Information you give us. When you email us: typically your name, work email, organisation, role and any message.
- Technical information. Standard server logs, and (if enabled) privacy-friendly, aggregate website analytics.
How and why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry.
- To operate and secure the website.
- To understand and improve the site using aggregate analytics that don't identify you.
We only use your details for the purpose you provided them. We do not sell your personal data.
Payments and subscriptions
If you subscribe to a paid plan, Fungies.io ("Fungies") is the Merchant of Record for your order. Fungies collects payment, handles billing and remits the applicable transaction taxes. Depending on where you are and how you pay, the Fungies company that sells to you is Fungies Inc. (United States) or Fungies Europe PSA (Poland); the one that applies is named at checkout and on your receipt.
- We never see or store your card details. They go directly to Fungies' payment providers, which are PCI DSS compliant.
- What we keep from Fungies is only what we need to run your subscription: the email address you used at checkout, the plan you bought, and the subscription's status and renewal date.
- What we send at checkout is a reference to your ClearVisibility site and installation, so the correct licence activates automatically after payment.
- Fungies is the controller of its own payment, tax and fraud records, and handles them under its own privacy policy, available at fungies.io/privacy-policy. Questions about a payment can go to Fungies at support@fungies.io.
We keep billing records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. See our Terms of Service for billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, to object, and to data portability. Email info@clearvisibility.co.uk. You may also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
